24th Annual Yankee Doodle Pops with the Des Moines Symphony 2017!

I had the unique honor of performing with my dear friend Maestro Joe Giunta and the Des Moines Symphony for their 24th annual Yankee Doodle Pops, Iowa’s largest single-day concert event! More than 100,000 people attended this year on the grounds of the Iowa State Capitol. This annual event is the third largest in the country, behind only the performance on the National Mall in D.C. and the Boston Pops on the Esplanade. The concert concluded with an amazing fireworks display over the downtown Des Moines skyline, and best of all, the event gave everyone an opportunity to support Yankee Doodle Drive Against Hunger by bringing a non-perishable food item to the concert.
